christianity is a very sacred discussion the same what we are doing now with islam. I believe that people have their own will as to how to struggle to achieve their spirituality and if by living islam or muslim religion is a way, we need to either respect or see other more reasons on why they leave. Maybe the religion has some pointers to change.

Projections to be published next month estimate that, if trends continue, the number of Catholic worshippers at Sunday Mass will fall to 679,000 by 2020.

Catholics are only one group of Christians...there is many more denominations. Also, Its hard to get an account of how many muslims there are cos muslims are born into the religion, they dont choose it. If they reject it, they rarely tell cos they will face persecution or even death.... Sharia Law.

The percentage of the world's population who honor Jesus as Lord has remained remarkedly constant at about 33% for the last 2000 years. One cannot become a Christian by just being born into a Christian family.

Jesus declared it best in John 3:3-7,

3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"

So why should Christians be amazed that unbelievers misunderstand the truths of the Bible, especially the words of Jesus, until they are "born again."

I am not suprised to see so many Muslims converting to Christianity. When one hundred years ago, the founder of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Ahmad, who claimed to be the Messiah and the reformer of the latter days said to the Muslims around the world and the members of other faiths that Jesus Christ is dead for all practical purposes everyone turned against him. Ahmad went on to discover the tomb of Jesus Christ in Srinagar, India.

Ahmad said to Muslims to let Jesus Christ die as the life of Islam lies in the death of Jesus Christ. The only community that has been peacefully and diligently defending all attacks of Christianity in Africa is Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. This community is carrying the motto of, "Love for All, Hatred for None" on its shoulders.

Ahmad wrote a book entitled "Jesus in India" in which he has proved from Quranic, Biblical, Historical and medical evidences that Jesus Christ travelled to India where he fulfilled his mission of giving the message to "the lost sheep of the house of Israel". The people of Afghanistan, Kashmir and Iran are living testimonies of this statement as their culture, their traditions, their customs, their buildings etc are the same as that of people of Israel.

You forgot to include the part, in the same article, that says... "While it is known that Muslim families continue to have many children, Christian families are having fewer," he said in an interview with the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano.

In the area of the world that I live in, you can find many who are married to 4 wives, having a total of more than 15 or 20 children! While Christians are married to only 1 person, with a maximum of maybe 5 children. Having 5 children is becoming even rare, its usually 4 and less. I can see the reason why Muslims are having a drastic increase in their numbers. However, regardless of this habit in muslim families, Christianity remains the top and most wide-spread religion on Earth.

To better understand what Jesus Christ really mean I have to explain this concept in the light of my beloved Jesus Christ's words. He said, "... Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do you stone me? The Jews answered him, ... for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, You are gods? If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken); Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You are blaspheming; because I said, I am the Son of God?" (John 10: 32 - 36)

It is abundantly clear that the Jews looked upon Jesus Christ as a man who blasphemed by posing as God. Had Jesus infact been God he would have been fortnight enough to claim this without any explaination.

Jesus Christ was a human being who came for "lost sheep of the house of Israel". Jesus Christ did not die for anyone's sins and infact at many points the holy Bible says that each one of us will be responsible for his own deeds (let me know if Biblical references are required). Jesus did not die on the cross, Bible bears this testimony and so does the Holy Quran, medical science and history.

To truly understand what Jesus said, it's best to let Jesus speak for Himself as He did in John 3,

Jesus is declaring that one must be "born again" spiritually by the gift of God's Spirit in order to enter into the kingdom of God. If you are not willing to do this, it's because you are not willing to honor Jesus as Lord.

10 "But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--He said to the paralytic,
11 "I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet and go home."
12 And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this."

Since Jesus proved that He had the power to forgive sin, the problem lies with your unbelief, not with the fact that Jesus is Lord.

In your quotation (not sure if it is intentional) you did not add the preceding verse that clearly points to the same conclusion that I have posted above.

For viewers I quote this verse John 3: 2, "...we know that you are a teacher (messenger i.e. human being) come from God..."

At no point after hearing these words from Nicodemus (who later took care of Jesus) Jesus Christ denied that he is not a teacher from God but he is rather God himself....

In the last verse you have quoted i.e. Do not be amazed that I said to you, `You must be born again'. Jesus Christ has clearly pointed that the second birth is not something an ordinary man like Nicodemus should be so amazed or suprised of... This points that Jesus who used to speak in parables is talking about one's spiritual birth.

However, if we assume that Jesus Christ gave a second physical birth to some... is there any record? how do we distinguish if some family today was born of God and some of Jesus? Is any of their progenies still alive? Which birthday did Jesus born 'creatures' used to celebrate, the first one when they were born or the one when Jesus gave them a birth? Were they still human or they transformed to another creature? If they were reborn as human were they prone to the same weaknesses? and so many other questions will arise....

The second quotation in which you have tried to prove that Jesus was god doesn't prove anything at all except that Jesus Christ was not God.

In this verse (Luke 6:46) Jesus is pointing towards what others think... At no point he said this is his own belief... This statement seems to be coming from someone who is extremely frustrated and helpless. Can God be helpless?

Lastly, in your final quotation you have talked about Jesus Christ has authority to forgive sins. While quoting as truth speaks itself you have quoted Jesus' words, "Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins."

This clearly declares that Jesus was a son of man. If one son of man has authority to forgive sins so does the other i.e. if you consider yourself to be a son of man you can forgive sins too and so do I.

Again, Jesus words say best what you do not understand. In Matt 22:29 Jesus said this,

"You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God.

(1) To enter the kingdom of God, you must be "born again" spiritually by the gift of God's Spirit (John 3:3-7)
(2) To enter the kingdom of God, you must declare that Jesus is Lord, and really mean it (Luke 6:46)
(3) To enter the kingdom of God, you must believe that Jesus has the power to forgive you of your sins (Mark2:5-12, Acts 2:38)

I will be very happy to explain to you what it means to be "born again" so that you can enter into the kingdom of God, enabling you to understand what Bible Scripture really means. Jesus declared in John 16:15 these words, He (the Spirit) takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

My approach to sharing the Gospel of Christ with those who are really interested is simply this:

When you start asking the right questions, then you are ready for the right answers.

The Phillipian jailer in Acts 16:30 started at the right place by asking the right question. Are you willing to start at the right place too?

I can prove from the holy Bible that Jesus did not die on the cross. He survived crucifixion and went on to live many years after crucifixion.
